What to wear with a lace white dress?

I just bought a lace white dress from dorothy perkins, I want a nice beige cardigan to wear over which I think I’ve found but if anyone thinks of anything else I’d really like to know as it’s got no sleeves. However at the moment I can’t think of any shoes to wear with it, brown brogues are good without tights at in school they prefer us to wear tights (black) I can’t think of any shoes that would go with them… help please

I have grey boots that are military like, would they do?

I agree with carrie, go with something more edgy looking or it will look like a wedding dress.
Well if your dressing it down you can wear a brown bomber jacket or leather jacket and for the shoes you can wear brown boots like military boots. That would give you a really edgy look.
Try to find a black shrug instead of a cardigan, buy barely black tights and a pair of black shoes with a small heel to balance it out try putting either a simple black and white bracelet to set it off
